Ontrack Thoroughbreds has secured a lovely filly bred on the same cross as
Black Caviar who will be prepared at Caulfield by Peter Moody.
The filly is by Bel Esprit from the Exceed and Excel mare Prompt (lot 221)
and was sold as agent by Eliza Park Stud.
"I was after a nice VOBIS qualified filly to send to Peter (Moody) as I have
a number of clients interested in having a horse with him," said Ontrack
Thoroughbreds Managing Director Grant Morgan.
"Peter liked the filly before I brought her and he was keen to get her down
to his breakers."
"I couldn't find a better VOBIS filly in the sale than her and she seemed
ideal given she is by the same sire and bred on the same cross as Black
Caviar."
"Aside from that she is a beautiful filly, very strong and powerful
everywhere you look. Very well grown being an early foal and I am thrilled
to get her."
Morgan pointed out that the fillies grand dam Amnesia was an outstanding
race mare who had the misfortune of racing against the great Sunline on
several occasions.
"She was runner up behind Sunline at Group 2 level , whilst she was also
third behind Bonanova and Staging in what is now a Group 1 race."
Ontrack Thoroughbreds will be offering shares in this filly with the Product
Disclosure Statement currently being prepared.
