Fasliyev Dancer Continues Interstate Reputation
Saturday 23 August, 2008: Gold Coast trainer Trevor Bailey continued
his excellent form with former interstate gallopers with the win of Fasliyev
Dancer today.
Formerly prepared at Caulfield by Peter Moody, Fasliyev Dancer made her
Queensland debut at the Gold Coast in Class 1 grade over 1200m.
With Terry Treichel aboard, Fasliyev Dancer romped to the lead straightening
before careering away for a soft win.
Like many former Melbourne gallopers, Fasliyev Dancer enjoyed the drop in
class whilst she was presented in outstanding order after enjoying the
relative warmth of a Queensland winter.
Prior to arriving in Queensland, Fasliyev Dancer was a Geelong Thoroughtrack
winner, whilst she was placed a further three times at Ballarat, Kyneton and
Benalla.
Fasliyev Dancer is out of the Seattle Dancer mare Oamaru Dancer, a winner
over 2025m at Cranbourne.
