Grant Morgan Joins Queensland Owners Committee

Monday 24 November, 2008: Ontrack Thoroughbreds Managing Director Grant Morgan has joined the Queensland Racehorse Owners Association Committee (QROA).

The ten person QROA committee is headed by President Adrian Mulhern.

“I’m looking forward to working with the committee to help represent owners in Queensland,” said Grant Morgan.

“I think it’s important that we all get involved in promoting our industry in challenging and exciting times, and the QROA provides owners with strong representation.”

“The Committee has a real good diverse range of members from different areas and backgrounds, which I think is terrific for associations of this kind.”

“I’m looking forward to being a voice for owners with horses trained at the Gold Coast, which is one of the busiest racing and training centres in Australia.”

Grant replaces former committee member David Joice from Blue Sky Thoroughbreds, who has relocated to Sydney to pursue a career as a trainer.

The QROA recently initiated the introduction of the widely acclaimed ANZ Owners Card.

The ANZ Owners Card enables Owners in Queensland to free access to major racetracks on most racedays, rewarding their investment in the Queensland Racing industry.

The QROA motto is ‘no racing without owners’, which helps summarise the activities of the group.
