placed three year-old filly Hollyweird has been purchased by Ontrack
Thoroughbreds.
Her first start for a new syndicate is scheduled for Melbourne Cup day at
Flemington in the $100,000 Schweppes 1000 (1000m) under the care of current
trainer Gerald Ryan.
The winner of 2 races, Hollyweird has been stakes placed on three occasions
including her most recent appearances at Caulfield (Group 3) and Rosehill
(Listed).
A beautifully bred filly by Snitzel, Hollyweird was a $140,000 yearling
purchase from Arrowfield Stud.
Following her Flemington assignment, Hollyweird will return to Queensland to
spell before being aimed at black type races with Gold Coast trainer Trevor
Bailey.
After concluding her racing career, Hollyweird will then be sold as a
broodmare prospect.
Limited shares are still available in the filly with 10%, 5% and 2.5% shares
being sold in her to complete the syndicate. These opportunities are
strictly for buyers willing to commit and pay immediately to complete the
syndicate.
