Hunter Valley 09 Tour Concludes
Monday 10 August, 2009:
Perfect Hunter Valley weather greeted the 2009 Horse & Wine Tour Group.
The tour group was co-hosted by former leading international rider Brent
Thomson.
The feature stud visit this year was to the majestic Widden Stud.
The group was particularly taken with Widden new boy Northern Meteor, who is
an absolutely magnificent looking horse.
Northern Meteor joins Sebring as impressive new members of the 2009 Widden
stallion roster.
The group also visited Coolmore Stud, Arrowfield Stud and Darley Stud.
As is normally the case, the group was very well fed during the tour, with
the highlight a fabulous final night dinner in the Gallery room of Redsalt.
A special thanks to the crew at Crowne Plaza Hunter Valley who looked after
the group superbly during our stay.
Our next tour is to New Zealand in November. A total of 25 places are
available for the tour, with early bookings swallowing up 14 of those spots.
