Ontrack Gold Coast Tour Concludes
Monday 4 May, 2009:
The inaugural Gold Coast Horse and Wine Tour concluded today after an
enjoyable weekend of racing action.
The tour was conducted over four days, with guests staying at Royal Pines
Resort.
The tour attracted visitors from as far away as Regional Victoria, Western
Queensland, Country New South Wales, Canberra and Sydney.
The main tour group consisted of 20 people, with numbers swelling up to 50
after local guests joined the group for day tours.
The Gold Coast Tour will now become a permanent inclusion on the Ontrack
Thoroughbreds Tour calendar, joining highly successful regular tours to the
Hunter Valley and New Zealand.
“We look forward to growing this tour next year with the support,” said
Ontrack Thoroughbreds Grant Morgan.
“The Gold Coast is a wonderful destination for short breaks and the area is
growing with regard to its equine attractions.”
“The Outback Spectacular Show was very popular, as was our visit to
Glenlogan Park at Innisplain.”
“The racing program at the Gold Coast for Prime Ministers Cup was also
outstanding and very popular among our guests.”
“We hope the tour can encourage people to visit the Gold Coast more often,
as well as considering placing horses in the area for both racing and
breeding.”
The next Ontrack Thoroughbreds tour will be conducted at the Hunter Valley
in August. Details of the tour will be available in the coming weeks.
