Perfect Queensland Debut for Glenlogan Galloper

Saturday 12 July, 2008: The Trevor Bailey stable continued its good strike rate with ex Melbourne gallopers today at Doomben by scoring with the Glenlogan Park Stud owned Perfect Feeling.

Formerly prepared by Peter Moody at Caulfield, Perfect Feeling was afforded a superb front running ride by Scott Seamer to win on debut in Queensland.

The five year-old Spinning World mare is stud bound, but today's win could influence owner Jon Haseler to continue on before an ultimate date with a Glenlogan Park stallion.

A possible target for Perfect Feeling could be the $75,000 Listed Tattersalls Mile (1600m) at Eagle Farm next Saturday.

Today's victory was Perfect Feeling's fifth career win from 32 start, that record including a Listed win at Morphetville in the Laelia Stakes.

A particularly tough mare, Perfect Feeling also campaigned in Hong Kong for 12 starts in the middle stages of her career before returning to Australia.

Perfect Feeling is out of the unraced Last Tycoon mare Lady Cairns. Her immediate family includes Group 1 winners Drought, Pharein and Abaridy, along with former topline racemare Gelsomino.
