MAGNUS 2yo FILLY

BLACK CAVIAR and SEPOY are the boom sprinters of the moment and our filly has pedigree components tracing back to both.

It's pretty hard to fault this lovely filly by MAGNUS (from the immediate female family of Black Caviar) out of a young ENCOSTA DE LAGO mare who descends from the great Canny Lass female line (the immediate female family of SEPOY).

The filly will be prepared at Caulfield by leading trainer MICK PRICE to take advantage of the rich SUPER VOBIS bonuses on offer in Victoria.

MAGNUS has started his career as a sire in great fashion. Like this filly, his oldest progeny are now just two year-olds and with the season barely under way, he has produced two stakes placegetters in Magnus Reign and Imprimis.

This filly breezed up very nicely on the Gold Coast in 10.8 for the 200m, without being pushed out. Since the sale she has been enjoying the Queensland spring and will go back into work around Christmas time. She should be ready to go to the races in the early new year to chase rich Super VOBIS bonuses in Victoria.
