GRANT MORGAN
Your tour host is Grant Morgan, who leads his sixth annual Hunter
Valley Horse and Wine Tour. Grant has gained wide experience over a career
spanning 15 years in various marketing, management, bloodstock and media
roles within the racing industry. He is the managing director of Ontrack
Thoroughbreds. Grant will be joined on the tour by wife Jenny Morgan, who is
also a director of Ontrack Thoroughbreds. As the former
Marketing Manager of top Victorian stud Eliza Park, Grant has a wide
knowledge of the Australian Racing and Breeding Industry.

BRENT THOMSON
Few jockeys of the modern era have had a greater impact on world racing
than New Zealand born Brent Thomson. Now residing in Melbourne and a
representative for New Zealand Bloodstock, Brent is a regular face at
major races and sales throughout the world. Brent is well known for his
partnership with the great Dulcify whilst being stable rider for the
late Colin Hayes. Brent has mixed with the racing big wigs from Robert
Sangster to John Singleton, but still retains a very common touch. The
winner of a record four W S Cox Plates, the unassuming Thomson will be a
popular member of the tour group.

JENNIE BARTELS
Jennie Bartel's passion and
excitement for racing is intoxicating. Jennie travels extensively taking in
all the racing and breeding 'must do' events throughout Australia and
the world. Jennie is the co founder of Women In Racing and Racing
Welfare, and is a member of the VRC, QTC, BTC & GCTC. Jennie has co
hosted several racing and breeding tours to the Hunter Valley, New
Zealand and Victoria. Jennie make a point of looking after the ladies on
the tour making sure all their needs are met.

JOHN MESSARA
Such is his standing within our industry, this year John Messara was
voted as the most influential figure of the Australian thoroughbred
industry. His knowledge, foresight and in depth analytical ability is widely regarded throughout the world.
John has developed Arrowfield Stud to become one of the world breeding
powers, with its current stallion roster including champion sire
Redoute's Choice. John Messara is the
Managing Director of Arrowfield Stud and the chairman of AUSHORSE. (John
will host the tour of Arrowfield Stud subject to availability and
commitments). |

JOHN
JOHNSTONE Horses
and wine seem to go hand in hand. John Johnstone demonstrates that adage
well. John Johnstone is the principal of Saddlers Creek Wines. The
boutique winery has received wide acclaim for its range of high quality
wines at shows throughout Australia. With labels like Bluegrass, Equus
and Saddlers, his other passion for horses shines through on his wines.
John is a successful breeder, one of his best results has been with the
Golden Slipper winning Ha Ha. (John will host the tour of Saddlers Creek
Wines subject to availability and commitments).
